Rev. Aric Clark
Pastor
Rev. Aric Clark is a pastor, an organizer, an activist, an author, a husband, a father, a thespian, and a gamer. He is a Presbyterian working among Methodists, having been ordained in 2008, after graduating from San Francisco Theological Seminary. He has lived in the Portland Metro area since 2014, having previously lived in Colorado, California, Scotland, and Brasil among other places.
His ministry nurtures the church’s call to faithful service through compassion, solidarity, and accompaniment with marginalized communities.
Aric likes to keep his life diverse and interesting by playing tabletop roleplaying games, performing and directing in local community theater, hiking, gardening, and enjoying the beauty of the Pacific Northwest. He is married to Stacia Ann Anderson Clark who is a training outreach coordinator with the Early Learning Systems Initiative (ELSI) at Oregon State University. He has two adult children, Avery and Curran, now off having their own adventures.
Christa Palmer
Office Administrator
She has been attending the church for over 17 years and brings her expertise to the inner workings of the office. She is a master crafter and brings an artist's touch to all she creates. She and her family enjoy time spent together at the coast.
Rick Wilson
Music Director
Rick is our music aficionado here at OCUMC, and has led us through many a season of worship and praise. His uses his gifts on the piano, the organ, with his vocals, and directing the choir to bring us into that space of worship every time we come to before the altar.
Carrie Myers
Nursery
Carrie was born and raised in Oregon City and has been a member of OCUMC her entire life. She's the mama of three children and has enjoyed caring for other's children for over 25 years. Her family enjoys playing games, movie nights and camping at the beach.
Kelly Difranco
Nursery
Kelly is a member of OCUMC with a passion for working with kids. She is a mom of two a recently completed a degree in education. She know works as a special education teacher and brings her patience, love, and compassion to our childcare team.
