Activities
- In addition to our local activities, there are
seasonal weekend retreats that the youth can participate in, including a
Fall Retreat at a
Who is the Meggan of Meggan’s Corner? Our Youth
Facility is named in honor of Meggan Parkinson, who died in an auto
accident in 1997. Meggan was very active in all aspects of the youth program at Oregon City
United Methodist Church.

02/21/2010 – Fundraiser – Spread bark dust in the church playground for
the Preschool. Bring your rakes, shovels, and wheelbarrow. Please RSVP
so we know who will be there – Pizza after we are finished. Parent
volunteers welcome and appreciated along with their shovels, rakes and
wheelbarrows…
02/21/2010 – Sunday - Regular group meeting at Meggan’s Corner 5:00-6:30

02/27/2010 – Snow Trip
to Mount Hood – Meet at church at 8:30, Stop at Joe’s Donuts; arrive at
the Mountain about 11:00 am. Sledding time, lunch is on your own – you
can purchase or bring your lunch and put it in the cooler. Leave around
2:30, stop at Calamity Jane’s for a bite to eat and then back to church by
6:00 pm for pick up.

Looking ahead…
04/03/2010 – Volunteer
to help at church Easter Party – youth will be helping with cookie
frosting, egg coloring and hiding Easter eggs. We will stuff the Easter
eggs during one of our regular meetings.
06/05/2010 - Volunteer at the Oregon Food bank – Meet at the church at
noon (eat lunch before you come) Volunteer from 1-3. Surprise after
volunteering.
