Ladies' Night Out!
All women are invited to this
special monthly
gathering, held usually on the first Monday of each month. We
meet at 6:30pm at a local restaurant for food and fellowship.
At the dinner, the next month's destination is planned. If you need a ride or want to carpool, just call the office.
Due to the Labor Day Holiday, the next Ladies' Night Out will be a week late! Join us on Mon, September 13th at Bugatti's on Warner-Milne Road in OC (in back of Lil’ Cooperstown).
Weekly Women’s Study
Tuesdays from 11:30am-12:30pm.
This weekly gathering, just for ladies, is on summer break.
But plan on joining them in the fall for fellowship and fun.

The "Munch Bunch"
This group of women meet, usually on 2nd
Tuesdays at 11:30am, to share in food and fellowship
at a local restaurant.
Call the office for location and to RSVP. Join in the fellowship and fun!
"Out
and About"
Be watching for details of our "Out and About" date & destination.
Join this group of adventurers that will go on local field trips to visit parks and gardens, attend movies and events and a variety of other places of interest.

Retreat
November 5 - 7!
"Stepping Out in Faith"
We will again go to the Christian Renewal Center Retreat in Silverton,
near Silver Creek Falls State Park. To see more about this
retreat center, visit their website at

You will have even more options this year. You can stay for the whole
weekend - Friday evening through Sunday late morning. You can attend for
a short weekend - either Friday evening through Saturday afternoon or
Saturday morning through Sunday morning.

Take-A-Look Book Nook!
Through the month of April, on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, we had an opportunity to browse the Book Nook located at the back of the Worship Center. There were gently-used books, movies and CD's and puzzles to purchase. Proceeds will benefit the Women's Ministries.
A portion of the proceeds went to purchase children's and women's books for the Clackamas Women's Services from their recommended list.
Our
Spring
Tea was great fun!

It was a special event for
ladies of all ages!
Our special guest speaker was Cyrilla
Gleason, a certified expert in the art of "tea"! She offered a
humorous talk about in the "ins and outs" of proper tea etiquette that entertained us all - from the youngest lady to the most mature.
And, of course, we had many surprises for all!
Tickets were $5 for ladies 12 and up, girls under 12 were free!
2009
Christmas Tea
Sat, December 19, 11am - 1pm
Many ladies celebrated the Christmas Season with us with tea & treats and a carol sing. Everyone brought an ornament to exchange and their prettiest teacup and saucer to sip tea. This special event was held at the Clackamas Banquet Center, 15815 82nd Drive in Clackamas.

At our 2010 Women’s Day,
we
“Took Time for
Ourselves”
held on Sat, January 23; 10am-12noon
We had
a morning of fun, fellowship and a tasty brunch! Then heard from some women of our church
who encouraged us to love, value and take care of ourselves.
And we also had some special surprises - we learned some "belly dancing"
moves, heard beautiful harmony from the "instrument" singers and much more.

Pancake Supper, Wed, Feb 17, 6pm.
In 2010
we had another successful dinner! Every year the Women's Retreat
alumni provide a pancake supper with proceeds
going to help offset retreat costs and to provide scholarships.
"Undie Sunday" (March 21st)
was a huge success!
Women's Ministries
sponsored this special clothing drive and asked everyone to bring in new
packages of children's socks and underwear. And the congregation
responded!
We took 61 packages of underwear and socks in a variety of styles and sizes
to the Clackamas Women's Services for families in shelters.
