"Women Together Making a Difference"
Ladies' Night Out!
All women are invited to this special gathering, held usually on the first Monday of each month. We meet at 6:30pm at a local restaurant for food and fellowship. At the dinner, the next month's destination is planned. If you need a ride or want to carpool, just call the office.
The next Ladies' Night Out is MON, March 1st at the Spaghetti Factory, Clackamas Promenade. Call the office if you need a ride.
The "Munch Bunch"
This group of women meet, usually on 2nd
Tuesdays at 11am, to share in food and fellowship! They gather
either at a local restaurant or in the hostess's home.
And you are welcome to join in the fellowship and fun!

This annual dinner is sponsored by the Women's Retreat alumni with proceeds
going to help offset retreat costs and to provide scholarships.
"Undie Sunday", March 21. Women's Ministries is sponsoring this special clothing drive and asking everyone to bring new packages of children's socks and underwear. These items will be donated to the Clackamas Women's Services for families in shelters. To learn more about the Clackamas Women's Services, visit their website at www.cwsor.org.
"Out and About", a June Saturday (TBA). A new group of adventurers is being formed that will go on local field trips to visit parks and gardens, attend movies and events and a variety of other places of interest. If you want to join in the fun, call the office or just watch for more information.

Everything is only $2, $4, or $6!
Proceeds will benefit the Women's Ministries activities and events of OCUMC.
Items not purchased will be donated to "Dress for Success" - an organization
helping women to
re-enter the work force.
Do you have items you
could donate? Look through your closets and donate your like-new and
gently used women’s clothing and accessories. Please bring in your
items, clean and wrinkle-free, to the church starting Sun, February 21st and
before
Wed, March 3rd.
Take-A-Look Book Nook in April!
Through the month of April, on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, you will have an opportunity to browse the Book Nook located at the back of the Worship Center. You can purchase gently used books, movies and CD's and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea. Proceeds will benefit the Women's Ministries.
Do you have gently used books (hard-bound
or paperback), movies (VHS or DVD) or music CD's that you would like to donate? Save them for this
special sale. Your donations will be accepted starting on Wednesday,
March 17th.
A portion of the proceeds will go to purchase children's and women's books
for the Clackamas Women's Services from their recommended list.
Spring
Tea

A special event for
ladies of all ages!
Our special guest speaker will be Cyrilla Gleason, a certified expert in the art of "tea"! She will offer a humorous talk about in the "ins and outs" of proper tea etiquette that will entertain us all - from the youngest lady to the most mature.
And, of course, we will have many surprises for all! So save that date on your calendar!
Tickets - $5 for women, girls will be free!

Retreat
November 5 - 7!
We will again go to the Christian Renewal Center Retreat in Silverton, located near the Silver Creek Falls State Park. You can check out their website at www.christianrenewalcenter.org.
You will have even more options this year.
You can attend for a short weekend - Friday evening through Saturday afternoon. You can stay for the whole weekend - Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. Or you can just come for the Saturday luncheon and program.

Christmas Tea

with us! 
Join us for tea & treats and a carol sing.
Bring an
ornament to
put on the tree for exchange and your prettiest teacup and saucer to sip
your tea.
This special event will be held at the Clackamas Banquet Center, 15815 82nd Drive (by Denny’s) in Clackamas.
Reservations will be
required - $10. Rides from the church will be arranged.
