  Children's Ministries
Your children are very important to us at OCUMC!  We are excited to offer a variety of programs and activities for your children. Nursery Care
We offer loving, quality care for your infants and toddlers that is both fun and safe.  We have in place a "check-in/check-out" system for the security of the children under our care.  Our Nursery Staff maintains strict sanitary standards and toys are checked and  disinfected regularly.
Rally Day '10!
Sunday, September 12

Each year the Sunday after the Labor Day weekend is the beginning of our program year.  Join us as we celebrate the many program opportunities!

Cornerstone Christian Preschool
Our preschool includes classes for 4-year-olds on Mon-Wed-Fri, and for 3-year-olds on Tues-Thurs.  Hours are 8:45-11:15am.  Registration for the 2010-11 school year will be open soon.  For more information, check our preschool page.

Sunday Church School!
10:15 - 11:15am

We have 3 classes:
3 years - Kindergarten - meet in Room 3-4
1st - 3rd grades - meet in Room 5-6
4th grade and up meet in Meggan's Corner

Children will start in worship with their families, be excused for class during the final opening song at about 10:10 and will stay in class until 11:15.  This longer time allows for the extras – snacks and games – that are so much fun for the kids and help to reinforce the lesson.

On Communion Sunday, usually the first Sunday of the month, the children will begin in worship as usual, but join their families near the end of the service to participate in Communion.

Our Wednesday Night Program
“The Zone” from 6:30-7:30pm
"The Zone" - for 3 years - 5th grade - is an hour packed with activities -  stories, games, crafts, snacks & music.  Parents will register and sign in their kids and then the fun begins!

We are enjoying the series "Rock Solid!" as we celebrate bible people who have a solid faith.  Want to know more?  (click here for an example of a lesson)

Parents have an opportunity during that time to attend a very casual worship service, using music and discussion as its format.  For more information, check this out.
