Book Discussion Group, Aug 26, 7pm.  This is a monthly gathering for those who want to share their love of books.  The August selection is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee.  (The Sept 23rd selection is December 6th by Martin Cruz Smith.)

Ladies' Night Out, Sept 1, 6:30pm.  Destination TBA. 

Guatemala Mission Trip Silent Auction, Sept 7.  Stay after church to bid on one of these special items.  The money raised will help with expenses of building a house and purchasing medical and other supplies for the '09 Guatemala Mission trip. 

Men's Night Out, Sept 8, 6pm.  Meet at the Blue Sage Café, 21900 Willamette Dr, WL.  Call the office if you need a ride.

Retired Men’s Breakfast, Sept 10, 8am at the Berry Park Retirement Center.

Cleaning Party, Sept 13, 9am.  Come ready to roll up your sleeves to make our church sparkling clean.

Rummage Sale, Sept. 27, 9am-5pm.  Save your goods and treasures for this event.  Proceeds will help with expenses of building a house during the 2009  Guatemala Mission Trip. 

Membership Class, Sept 28, 11:30am-1pm.  In this 1-session class, you will find out about United Methodism and explore what membership means. 

Women's Retreat, Oct 24-26. Join the “Mad Hatters” for a wonderful weekend!  Registration forms are on the lobby table.
