For the Kids
 Your children are very important to us at OCUMC!
We are excited to offer a variety of programs and activities for your children.
Sunday School!
10:15 - 11:15am
We have 3 Children's Classes and 1 Youth Class:
3years - Kindergarten Class meets in Room 3-4
1st & 2nd grade Class meets in Room 5-6
3rd - 6th grade Class meets in Meggan's Corner
Youth (7th-12th gr) Class meets in the Heritage Room
Children will start in worship with their families, be excused for class during the final opening song at about 10:10 and will stay in class until 11:15. On Communion Sunday, usually the first Sunday of the month, they will begin in worship as usual, but join their families near the end of the service to participate in Communion.
Our Annual Christmas Season Events -
 Advent Festival - There is no charge for this craft extravaganza that celebrates the season of Advent. Our Worship Center will be filled with craft tables so every member of the family can have fun making a variety of Christmas crafts to take home and enjoy.
Night in Bethlehem 
Our Worship Center will become the town of Bethlehem for the evening. Enjoy the many shops and their goods. You can go to the "inn" for a supper of soup and bread as well as enjoying the variety of treats, goodies and activities at the booths. E njoy the program portion of our evening that will include all the children in attendance.

Nursery Care
We offer loving, quality care for your infants and toddlers that is both fun and safe. We have in place a "check-in/check-out" system for the security of the children under our care. Our Nursery Staff maintains strict sanitary standards and toys are checked and disinfected regularly.
Our Wednesday Night Program
“The Zone” from 6:45-7:45pm
"The Zone" - for 3 years - 6th grade
"The Youth Zone" - for 7th - 12th grade
This is an hour packed with activities - stories, games, crafts, snacks & music. We are using the series "Rock Solid". Each week we learn about "building a heart of faith." Parents have an opportunity during that time to attend "Living the Faith", a time of discussion and sharing that focuses on applying the message to their lives. Find out more about "The Zone"!
Kid's Night Out!
- quarterly Friday nights - from 6 - 9 pm.
(Feb 24 & May 18, 2012)
This is a special evening for your kids, ages 0 years - 6th grade, full of fun! You have the opportunity to drop your children off at the church and spend an evening out, knowing that your kids are safe and having lots and lots of fun! The cost to attend the whole evening is $5 per child (includes a light dinner). Click here for more information about Kid's Night Out.
Reading Night, Wed, February 29 – Spaghetti Dinner at 5:45, Book Readings start at 6:30. Join us for this special event sponsored by our Preschool! (There will be no Kid’s or Youth Zone or “Living the Faith” adult class.)
Vacation Bible School 2012

We had a great time at our 2011 VBS! We had 126 kids, age 4 years – 6th grade, and 45 youth and adult leaders attending! Put VBS 2012 on your calendar!
